Spathiphyllum plants grow in various light conditions, including low light and shade. The plant’s ability to remove toxins from indoor air makes Spathiphyllum an excellent plant for any room in your home. Although Spathiphyllum contains toxic substances, the plants are generally safe to handle. But it’s probably best to keep Spathiphyllum plants away from pets and children in case they chew on the leaves.
